This is where you show important evidence to the teacher (and external moderaor) of your individual role and personal contribution to the production. As you can imagine it has to be completed by you and is expected to include the following:

• Evidence of research

• Evidence of planning, such as outlines, still test shots, sketches and storyboards

• Key dates, decisions and deadlines

• A record of your exact contribution to the production, such as: camerawork, director, editing or audience research, .

The portfolio can include a range of material appropriate to the product, such as: first drafts of storyboards and scripts, clips and and any notes made.

The purpose of this unit is to assess:

• Your skills of research, planning and presentation and planning through the construction of your own practical production (AO3)

• Your ability to construct and evaluate your own products using creative and technical skills (AO4).

Brief Summary

This unit is internally assessed and externally moderated. You can either work individually or as part of a group (maximum size four) to produce a major practical production in response to a brief. You must also produce individual evidence of research and planning and an individual evaluation of your finished work.

Your task is to create a music promo video, with a storyboard. The length of the promo will reflect the length of the music track.

• All material must be original, produced by you, with the exception of music or audio effects.
